dr. Austeja Landsbergiene, Educator, Founder of 6 Senses International Group
Austeja Landsbergiene, Ph.D., is a CEO and founder of a private chain of pre-schools “Vaikystės sodas” (14), Queen Morta schools (3) in Lithuania and Six Senses International Preschool in Riga.
In 2015 Dr. Austeja Landsbergiene was awarded by the President of Lithuania and the King of Sweden a Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award at “Swedish Business Awards 2015” for the enhancement of Lithuania’s education system through implementing new concept of teaching and for being an inspiring role-model, showing of how passion and knowledge can be turned into a successful business. In 2016 Dr. Austeja Landsbergiene has been awarded a fully-funded fellowship to the Klingenstein Center for Independent School Leadership’s 2016 Heads of Schools program at Teachers College, Columbia University.
These awards show that hard work and passion initiate change. Dr. Austeja Landsbergiene had a dream to provide the best quality 21st century education in Lithuania and the Baltic States: a modern local school providing global education. It was new both for the parents and the teachers, but the idea and the word about this extraordinary place spread quickly, and today the chain of pre-schools created by Austėja is a hub for modern ideas and the advancement of education.
